MID auf dem Nürnberger Digital Festival 2025

Digital Together: MID at the Nürnberg Digital Festival 2025

Digital innovation, eye-level exchange and concentrated expertise – that’s exactly what the Nürnberg Digital Festival 2025 offers. This series of events brings together a wide range of players from business, science, education and society to make digital trends, technologies and transformations tangible. Through engaging panels, talks and workshops, it creates an inspiring space for knowledge transfer and dialogue that is both cross-industry and hands-on. For MID, participating is a logical step: As a driver of digital product development and smart data solutions, we actively contribute our perspective on forward-looking technologies, modern IT strategies and the importance of data-driven business models. Participants can look forward to two exciting MID events focused on AI and EAM.

Online Presentation: More Transparency, less Effort – How EAM helps with regulation

Regulatory requirements are increasing – and with them the pressure on companies to make their IT and process landscapes transparent, secure and comprehensible. Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) can be a decisive lever here: If it is maintained sensibly and used strategically, it provides much of the information that is needed for regulatory reporting anyway.

In this online webinar as part of the Nuremberg Digital Festival, we will show how EAM not only contributes to better management of the IT landscape, but also supports specific requirements from laws and regulations – such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), NIS2, DORA or the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). These regulations require, among other things:

  • transparency about software components used (e.g. through a Software Bill of Materials – SBOM),
  • risk assessments and management for IT systems,
  • traceability of supply chains and dependencies,
  • availability of declarations of conformity,
  • as well as clear responsibilities and processes in the event of security incidents.

A well-maintained EAM provides precisely this information – structured, up-to-date and comprehensible. It creates the basis for not only fulfilling regulatory requirements, but also implementing them efficiently and sustainably.

Using the EU Cyber Resilience Act as an example, the presentation will show how companies can use EAM to prepare the required declaration of conformity – including the necessary technical documentation and SBOM. It will become clear that those who know their enterprise architecture can react faster, document in a more targeted manner and meet regulatory requirements with less effort.
