Great Ranking for MID GmbH in the International Systems Engineering Community
The international systems engineering scene met in Washington for the “International Council on System Engineering” INCOSE Symposium 2018, July 7-12. Tool interoperability has never been so important. More and more disciplines are involved in product development. a wider degree of cross-networking of functions and an ever-increasing specialization of disciplines, methods and tool are crying out for effective and easy-to-use mechanisms. Only then can engineering information be consistently organized.
Next Generation of Smartfacts
We didn’t merely come to talk; product owner of Smartfacts, Christoph Bergner, also showcased the next generation of Smartfacts at the INCOSE Summit. Smartfacts now links well-known modeling tools Rhapsody, MagicDraw, Innovator, Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Enterprise Architect and Integrity Modeler in the area of Systems Engineering, based on OSLC. Smartfacts now also has a tool-in-tool mixed mode, which enables linked artifacts from any number of other tools to be accessed within every tool, blazing a trail for a completely new type of interoperability.
„The INCOSE Symposium 2018 was the ideal opportunity to give the visitors a live showcase of how to integrate multiple modeling tools, requirements management, test management, task management and collaboration. “
